This Fair Scam Tax proposal is another reason why Huckabee should be shut out.

Lets focus on the issue at hand.

We are discussing a tactical situation where Huckabee stays in for no reason other than a spoiler.

BIG IF his delegates are needed to push either mccain or romney over the top then he can cut a deal with them IF either mccain or romney will cut a VP deal.

It also leaves the door open to McCain nad Romney cutting a deal with each other and shutting out kookpaul and Hucabee from the equation and they get zero.

Of course if it is REALLY close, ronpaul could cut a deal for his few delegates at a “less expensive” price than huckabee and shut out Huckabee.

net result:

Fair Tax HR 25 still will never ever ever become law. ever. (to borrow a previous post)

Agreed. Let’s have a real race, head to head and see who really has the majority of the party’s support. McCain isn’t winning among those who consider themselves Reps. How can a party have as its nominee a self-declared maverick who has sided with the Dems on so many issues against his own party? Huckabee is clearly an accomplice helping McCain steal the nomination. Many of the Rep states are winner take all so there will be no brokered convention as long as Huckabee continues to be in the race and allow McCain to win with 33% to 35% of the vote.
