One more thing: Maine’s primary is TODAY. Expect a Mac Attack!
Okay this is a good place to ask this question. I spend a lot of time in TN. I have friends in Maryville and Oak Ridge and visit them regularly as well as coming down to fish in the Park. I have never sensed that much religious bigotry while there, but it sure is rampant here on FR. There are about 12-15 rabidly anti-Romney types on FR. Of that group I can discern that at least half are from TN. Most are also obviously religious bigots based on their post against him. So what is it about the great Volunteer state the foments this bigotry? Just asking. TN is such a beautiful state and the people I have met there have always been so nice that I find this interesting.
We can only hope your analysis is wrong.
Maybe we’re just more willing to be politically incorrect when duty calls that we speak the truth.
I would accept that except that in too many cases the arguments aren’t political, but religious. I can agree everyone is entitled to their own political opinion about a candidates position, what bothers me are the religious litmus test attacks, i.e he is not Christian or Christian enough.
The government is prevented from applying religious litmus tests, but we the people aren’t.
All men are created equal, all faiths are not.
The President is a role model. If he wasn’t, I’d care only about the policies and character, and I’d still be voting for Huckabee and against Romney. But I probably wouldn’t choose a democrat over Romney if I didn’t think the President was a role model.
