Al Qaeda and CAIR thank you for your tacit support.
So this is what I see UNIVERSALLY from both sides of this debate:
McCain has NEGATIVE COAT TAILS and will hurt all the congressional and senatorial candidates.
Third Party voting that siphons off Republican votes is Obama's OR Hitlery's DREAM scenario!
It's all about feelings?
Rush has said for years: “You never win by losing.”
He’s still right on that.
You are making your decision based on what is *better* (not necessarily great, good, or what we hoped for) for the country.
Not everyone is, unfortunately.
And who's fault is that exactly?
Are the Republicans so stupid to think that their conservative base would jump for joy with a McCain nomination? Are we all supposed to just accept whatever trash they throw us?
No, but they do thank you for making it so easy for them to get the agents across our Southern border.
The problem is that you wouldn’t survive even 6 months of Obama. Hellary would be a different matter; she’ll crash and burn. But Osama will be raising the star and crescent over the WH within about a year of his arrival, and all of his Dem constituency will absolutely adore it. So stop him now or never.
>> You are making your decision based on what is *better* (not necessarily great, good, or what we hoped for) for the country.
That’s the only way I know how.
>> Not everyone is, unfortunately.
Its a long time until November. People are justifiably angry right now — angry that a couple of good conservatives haven’t done well (Hunter, Thompson); angry that the Christian choice (Huckabee) hasn’t taken off since Iowa; angry that the last best hope (Romney) is a bit on the ropes right now.
But as the prospect of President Hillary Clinton, or President Barack Obama grows nearer, I suspect reason will largely take over for passion. There are a few that will hold out — but there alwa
Hopefully Romney will get nominated — take Fred Thompson as a running mate — and the pill will be slightly less bitter.

Hillary is more conservative than McCain
That hugh. You can't be series.
Did George W. Bush have coat-tails in 2004?
If McCain or Romney win in 2008, it will be by too thin a margin to have coat-tails.
>> Hillary is more conservative than McCain
Then vote for her. This is nonsensical hyperbole — and ABSOLUTELY FALSE.
Show me a SINGLE ISSUE on which Hillary is MORE conservative than McCain — on issues where McCain is liberal, they agree (like global warming, immigration); on issues where McCain is conservative (like foreign policy, for instance), Hillary is FAR more liberal.
I understand your dislike for McCain — really I do. I don’t want him nominated either. But, lets not be silly here.

Nobody scares me more than Hillary.
No, I’m actually very series. Osama Obama is the only thing that would make me vote for either McCain or Romney. Otherwise, I’ll stay home.
ABC .. where is Alfred E Nuemann?
Then the campaign is old against young; tired against energetic; the 'greatest generation' against the baby boomers.
In other words, it's Texas and a couple of other states for McCain and everyone else for Obama. An Electoral difference of 200-250 votes.
I'm sorry you're angry about the current developments... It is what it is, however, certainly a Hobson's Choice for The Base, but you don't have to vote for the Republican nominee.
I'm just saying that if large numbers of votes are drawn from the Republican nominee to some 3rd Party candidate, the Dem nominee is likely to win in November by following classic, Clintonian strategy. I hope that Dem nominee is Obama, in which case you might want to vote directly for Obama in November, rather than voting for Ross Perot (and his farm animals) & watching Obama be inaugurated anyway...
