I dare say, that if one’s principles were aligned with Myth Romney’s, they wouldn’t find much happiness on Freerepublic.

Well, not on this nasty, vile thread (sounds kinda like McCains personality). But I find alot of happiness on Free Republic. You should read the live debate thread from last night - lot’s of good natured, happy folks.

I actually feel very comfortable on Free Republic, and align pretty much dead-on with Mitt Romney's platform for his presidential run.
- Make Bush Tax Cuts Permanent.
- Private accounts in Social Security
- Support Human Life Amendment
- Oppose DC Gun Ban
- Appoint Strict constructionist judges
- Reign in excessive government spending
- 2nd amendment defines an individual right to bear arms.
- Repeal the McCain/Feingold Campaign Finance Reform legislation.
- Oppose federal funding for embryonic stem cell research.
- Support Military's don't ask, don't tell policy
- Keep fighting in Iraq until we win.
- War on Terror is war on islamic extremists
- Add 100,000 troops
- Support School Choice/Vouchers
- Apply free-market principles to solve problem with taxpayer-funded default medical care for people without insurance.
- Laws to overturn Kelo, protect private property rights.
- Drill for oil in ANWR.
- More research before taking drastic actions on the so-called "global warming" problem.
- Roll back tax rates across the board
- Lower corporate tax rates
- eliminate the death tax
- Eliminate unncessary regulations on business
- Tort Reform
- Close the borders
- End illegal immigration
Is there something on that list you don't like?
The only difference is that I trust Mitt Romney to BE what he says he will be. That may make me naive, or a fool, but it doesn't make me unprincipled. I am voting for the man who has a chance of winning who has the best conservative platform.
