Because that would have been responsible and entailed them sticking their necks out. Crying after the fact has no price.

Tom Tancredo cancelled Hunter out.

The next president will appoint at least two and perhaps as many as five members of the Supreme Court. Do we really want Hillary to make those choices? Since McCain's judicial litmus test would require a prospective jurists acceptance of McCain-Feingold, it stands to reason that 'strict constructionist' would be off the table.

McCain recently said that he wouldn’t hold Federal judges to a litmus test on the McCain/Feingold law.

I am, as of last night, the founder and only member of C.R.A.m. (Conservative Republicans Against mcCain).
CRAm resolves to vote third party, or not at all if mcCain is the nominee.
Liberal and moderate Republicans are taking my vote for granted, thinking that they can terrorize me with threats of Hillary or Obama. They can CRAm it!
As we say down here in the South...
Ain’t Skeered!

I would vote for a cup of warm mold over any Democrat.
Conservatives can throw their hissy-fit during the primaries for not getting the perfect yet un-electable conservative candidate (Tancredo? Hunter? Would they even get 40% in a general election?). When November comes around, you’d better be ready to man-up (or woman-up), hold yer nose, and pull that straight R lever. Unless you enjoyed 8 years of Bill Clinton.

“A Democrat in the White House will give the left a lifetime lock on the Supreme Court”
Not True. The Republicans are just as capable of blocking any judicial appointments as the Demorats have been successful.
Longing for the good ol times won’t work. We had a chance, and our elected representitives blew it. I was working for Fred, and Duncan was just as capable. The good ol boys club locked them out of the play room. Told us “we are the new conservatives. Like us just enough to vote us in because we are a little more conservative than Hillary.”
And we are supposed to just run to the poll and vote. A vote for ? is a vote for ? A vote against ? is a vote for ?
What ever happened to a vote based on conviction?
A vote should never be based on fear or intimidation.
And that is exactly how the players are playing us to get control.

We can not sit the election out. We could avoid voting for President, but we must win the House and Senate back to protect us from the bad ideas liberals and rinos have.

If McQueeg is the RePub nominee...I will not be voting Republican. I will probably get my but out & vote R. However, for the first time since 1976, I will not man a phone bank, canvas the streets or send money.

If youre a conservative who decides on principle not to vote this year, dont let them make you feel guilty. Please, please do not "not vote" - do NOT give Hillary the popular vote. Vote third party so she will only have a plurality, not a majority.

Boycott the presidential race but vote Republican in the other races (assuming your local Republican is worth supporting).
To sit out the entire election because of the Hill/Bama/McCain mess would be the ultimate act of irresponsibility!!!

I am writing Cheney’s name in (in hopes he could be a hunting President) and then I am voting for Rs to win the House and Senate back.

Much of it is justified, but one lame charge jumped out at me, and needs to be dropped from the conservative litany.
Politicians swearing is supposed to be a sign they can't be trusted with security affairs?
What are we going to do next, put the Marine Corps in tutus?

McCain recently said that he wouldnt hold Federal judges to a litmus test on the McCain/Feingold law. He has also recently said that McCain/Kennedy wasn't amnesty. I have a hard time believing that he would appoint someone that would find McCain/Feingold unconstitutional. But that's just me.
