The group think here at FR is too thick; you’re mentally taking one of the most engaging, funny, and TOUGH politicians I’ve ever seen and trying to caste him into the outer darkness.

He lost me with the "I didn't raise taxes, I raised hope" statement. And then there was the eastern corridor highway to solve our economic mess. Sheesh! He is engaging and funny but the joke would be on us if he were elected.

I think he’s dead right about infrastructure spending as a sensible way to give an economic stimulus. It makes a lot of sense to do those sorts of projects when you are headed into an economic downturn. Right now we are sending checks to people to spend on Chinese goods. I’ll probably use mine . . . to pay off part of my 2008 taxes!
