This is why we detest the Huckster so much.
He leaves out all the bad stuff he did, all the spending and tax increases.

You totally have glossed over the problem my Friend. Let me give you a several of examples:
Statesman:
Fred Thompson on McCain - Fiengold:
It did not work out as planned, I think we should scrap the whole thing and go to 24 hour reporting of contributions.
Fred admits that it did not work and proposes a solution.
The Huckster:
Grows the size of government tremendously, raises taxes 600 million more than he cuts them and then has the gall to announce he is a fiscal conservative. He takes no responsibility for his choices, but instead claims that all the taxes were needed. He cuts nothing out of the size of government. He LIES.
McCain:
McCain pushes McCain-Kennedy Amnestey bill which is thoroughly researched and by any objective measure is a AMNESTY bill. McCain consistently LIES about this and says it is not Amnesty because Illegal Aliens have to pay a fine. Completely ignoring that most of the Illegal Aliens have committed not only misdeamoners, but also Felonies by acquiring a fake ID and using the fake ID to acquire medical services and other government services. McCain knows this but still LIES about it.
I hope you see the difference, you can look at from a 150,000 ft level and not see the forest for the trees, however, get down to where you can see some of the details, and you get a far clearer picture.
