You should be rejoicing. The people that are supporting Paul, some of these folks are Naderites. Nader is the King of the anti-establishment candidates, even more so than Paul. This will deteriorate Paul's support among the populist left and indepdents even more. And since conservatives have already rejected Paul, then that means Paul will drop out soon and run for his obscure TX Congressional seat again.

True Southern conservatism. Even when he didn’t win, Thompson always polled as the most conservative candidate throughout the south — more conservative than Huck, Romney, McCain or Giuliani. The fact that he didn’t look like he could win ultimately killed his campaign.

I don't think that can be done. Almost all RATS want the WH so bad that they will vote for any RAT, even Hillary. But in a close state, Nader could be all we need to put it in the GOP column. If he siphons off 1% who would have otherwise voted for her, that could do it. It took a lot less than that in FL eight years ago.
