This should be interesting today. I suspect Rush will point out that McCain only won by five, and had to win among liberal and moderate Republicans in order to do so.

I'll bet Rush will not back away from the truth... he'll continue to slam McCain.

Now that Rudy’s out, we basically have a situation like 2000 where its McCain versus a moderate R (Romney in this case versus Bush in 2000).. will this force him to make an endorsement?

We know as little about the Repub. party bureaucracy as we do about the Education Department.

They are remote, unknown, operate behind the scenes and ignore their constituency. Like any huge bureaucracy, they do what they like.

We need more information about them.

We have plenty of info on the Democrats. The MSM covers them and talk show hosts slam them (deservedly) and cover their activities without end.

But the Republican elite remains unknown, remote, unresponsive and scary.

They need exposure and lots of it.

I wish he would go over the Repub. organization state by state. I don’t even have any idea how I would begin to contact them.

They sure don’t bother contacting me.

But the Democratic outreach toward their voters is constant and insistent.

Another point:

There is more at stake in this election than McCain as our nominee or defeating the Democrats.

This is a battle for the lost soul of the Republican Party. This isn’t just “Us vs. McCain.” This is “Us vs. The Mainstream Media.”

The Mainstream Media sees this as an opportunity to crush conservatives. If McCain is the nominee, the conservative movement will be declared “dead.”

So, although Romney is not my favorite candidate, I will donate to his campaign and campaign for him.

If Romney wins it will be due to conservative support. He will owe us and some in the MSM will have to acknowledge our influence.

There is much a stake. The divide and conquer strategy of the MSM must be stopped.

I used to love Rush but these days I’m quite disappointed with him. His beat-down on Huckabee is what has led to the McCain surge. We may be facing a McCain presidency and it will be in large part due to ol’ Rush-bo. He really shot himself in the foot this year.

If McCain gets the nomination I may have to do a write in vote for Newt in November, I have opposed McCain for so long I don’t know if I could pull the lever for him!

Yesterday Rush pointed out how the MSM is now portraying the race as not Romney v. McCain, but Limbaugh v. McCain. Is the media purposefully trying to gin up more votes for McCain by inspiring the previously lethargic anti-Rushites, not all lefties, to vote in the primaries in order to spite Rush? The MSM would like nothing better than to diminish Rush, if possible, in the eyes of the general public.

well I listened all night to the pro political circus

First off, this ain’t over by a damned site.......

We and Romney are fighting three separate fronts

We are fighting head to head with the media in the name of Tim Russert, Chris Matthews and Tom Brokaw

Last night, Russert said as much with the appearance of Rudy at the REAGAN LIBRARY pushing McCain.Russert allowed the delicious juicy weaking of the Reagan mantle in Reagan’s house with this action. There was particular joy in it being McCain receiveing Rudy’s praise too

The debates tonight ......

Romney has to be the news, no way for media spin and it
need be specific.......
If I were Romney, tonight,this night,prepared,I’d
name Fred Thompson as my running mate
You would own the headlines, the momentum and the conservatives

Hillary said she WILL SEAT the Florida delegates...How ? Lawyers.....yet no story

Lastly, Rush Limbaugh

The Florida vote in real time was as accurate as the Texas vote in real time ( which did not happenn, hense the point)
The news of McCain’s lies and Obama’s Kennedy following was not known by 1/3 of the Florida voters

Rush is about to make history is my next guess

Here, and behalf of the conservatives of Florida, I'm sorry about yesterday.

Rush's AM report today was great. Actually fits in with what Patches submitted as a bill to save the yachting industry way back when. Turns out the construction of one luxury yacht employed 1,000. Conversely, slap a luxury tax on yachts and what happens to 1,000 on each and every lost sale (npi)??? Even Patches could figure that out.
