AFTER he is nominated, the “real conservatives” are marginalized as right wing wackos....that’s us.
I haven’t seen the MSM refer to McCain as “far-right.”

I’m reading “Liberal Fascism” by Jonah Goldberg. Very eye openning about the Left’s long legacy of totalitarianism. The tactics of terror, totalitarianism, and suppression of the individual never change on the Left, only the labels.
By completely disappearing from the scene, Fred knows nobody expects his endorsement.

I've read Jim DeMint as a possible contender for a McCain VP. However, I also have read Lindsey Grahamnesty is in contention.
And Rush is finding out that irrational callers and fans of Rush like Laurie also do not win primaries.

I think you have described the underlying condition that enables candidates such as McCain, Romney etc.. They adhere to the policy that an essential middle must be wooed, in relatively good times, to be successful.
