Rush left no doubt in this listener’s mind that he was for FRED, and dislikes McCain a great deal, politically speaking.
Romney is his backup, and he’s not totally enthused about him.

It sounds as though he’s also of the mind that if it is a McCain vs. Mrs. Impeached President or Obama Hussein, to let them take the office, implement their liberal agenda, and watch the country tailspin for 4 years under Dem rule. It seems to think that is what it will take to bring another Reagan out of hiding.
I agree with him. But what he’s overlooking is the fact that the RINOs colluding with the Dems have made it so that many middle-class Americans with families are just getting by. 4 years of Socialism and allowing Mrs. Josephine Stalin to control healthcare (if she wins) will put too many families behind the 8 ball for four years waiting for the promised savior to arrive, who may not for 8 years or 12 or 16.
And make no mistake, if Mrs. Seller-of-Missile-Guidance-Technology or Obama Hussein get elected, one of their first orders of business will be to push the Fairness Doctrine again to shut up our leading spokesmen and women on the radio. Combine that with stacking the many vacant judge positions (thanks, Bush, for not being more aggressive with filling vacancies) and we are looking at the possibility of an entire generation of European-style Socialism that will cripple us.
That is what I heard from Rush as well,he was a Fredhead. I wish he had broken his no endorsement rule. I love Fred.
