I know, it's absurd. There's no reason to dispair. This was a setback, and he's now an underdog, but it's still a long way to go to the nomination.

There's no reason to dispair. Given that he is sure to lose California, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Connecticut and Arizona and several Southern states, there is plenty of reason to despair (or celebrate).

I don’t think he’s the underdog. There’s a ways to go and most of the major talk show hosts will be exposing more and more of McCain’s record.

Maybe there is a silver lining to this dark cloud. Being the “underdog” may make him fight harder. I know Rush et al are going to go nuts over the next week or so. I know I’m mad as hell McCain won.
perhaps McCain just peaked and Romney will peak for the win.
If not, I just don't know what the heck I’ll do come the General election.

..I’m rooting for Mitt. However, I don’t think it’s accurate to say there’s a long way to go to the nomination. With Super Tuesday next week, that has huge implications and lots of delegates. Mitt needs to win some big ones like CA to have a legit shot.
