He better have one heck of a running mate.

McPain or a write-in depending on what transpires between now and then.
To: Jim Robinson
A better question is McCain vs Obama (I know, Hillary will get the Dem nod, by whatever means necessary).
I will vote for anybody over Hillary but I will not ever vote for McCain except against Hillary.

Doug from Upland on Iowa talk radio the day before the Caucus.
DFU: Dr. Paul, I appreciate your strong defense of our Constitution, but I have a foreign policy question for you.
RP: Okay
DFU: Knowing the attitude of the mullahs and Ahmadinejad, if the North Koreans sent a ship to Iran loaded with nuclear missles, would you either stop or sink the ship?
RP: Why would we?

Holy crap, indeed, it’s mind boggling what the GOP has arrived at.
To: Jim Robinson
I’ll hold my nose and vote for McCain. I won’t be turning cartwheels over it, but IMHO the alternative is not just unacceptable, it’s inconceivable, and IMHO again, an abstention is in reality a vote for the alternative.

Has it really come to this?
If so, just bring on the falling sky, global warming, depleted ozone, $5 gas, Chinese imports, and Hugo’s wrath because we will indeed be doomed.

We don't see it that way. The way we see it, you should also write-in Thompson/Hunter. It's morally wrong to vote for a RINO, or a democrat, or to stay home. That only leaves a write-in, or independent at this point.
Let's not be total morons? O.K. I'm with you. How about us not being total cowards as well.

I’ll vote my conscious, I have to live with myself.

McCain sounds a little tired and weak in his delivery tonight. If that is a look at how he would perform in general election debates then it is not good news for him.
I think I agree with you that I will vote for McCain if I have to but with no enthusiasm.

Why can’t people understand that American doesn’t want a “conservative” in the White House in 2009? Granted I dislike MCCain as much as anyone on this forum, but everyone had their head stuck in the sand on the political climate in this country. Political winds always shift, right not is blowing less conservative. In time, if the Republicans in the House and Senate will grow some spine, it will shift back.
