I agree on the third party. I’m going to write in “ None of the Above” Maybe that would be a good name for a third party.

I’d vote for Paul if he ran as an independent. What the hell, give the country four years of Hill or Obama and then hope we can find a real candidate in 2012.

Will this dreadful terror incident happen before of after November 2008? I need to know because it would influence my decision regarding the bet. ;)

I will not in any way participate in the destruction of my country.

Oh good God! This is so tiring... People this is not some perfect world where your actions have ZERO ramifications. If agree more with the lessor of two evils and yet don't vote, YOUR ACTION HAS, REPEAT, HAS, SUPPORTED the greater evil. That's the way it is in the real world.

A nice cigar at the moment, but that is beside the point. Hispanics in Florida turned out and voted heavily for John McCain due to his reasonable stance on immigration reform. McCain has proven the anti-immigrant extremists wrong by showing that Republicans can win the Hispanic vote.

You are brave.

What if McCain is further along, like defecating in his pants?

Between now and November is a lifetime when you are 72.

There have been to many die for my right to vote just to sit at home and not go to the polls.

Wrong, many people died for your right to make the decision, to vote are not to vote. Don't try to pack your short comings off on them.

Anti-immigrant extremists? What America-hating nonsense. We don't want ILLEGAL people taking over our country. How is that extreme?

Much of the so-called "Hispanic vote" probably isn't even registered, but voted anyway.

I have posted this about 500 times over the last year or so.

If Satan Incarnate was running against The Evil Witch in the general election, I would heartily cast a vote for him and drag 10 friends, co-workers, and neighbors down to the polls to do likewise. (Thanks to Winston Churchill for the thought)

McCain isn’t my first choice but he’s better than Hillary.

Is he?

It sure was and still is an amnesty plan. It also makes no sense.

You are correct!

I found this site during the 2000 election and have visited it almost daily to get news and read opinions. I've posted a few times and donated a few times.

But I've been disillusioned with the general tone here for quite awhile and this poll points to the reason why.

If McCain is not conservative enough for 2/3 of you when compared to Hillary then 2/3 of you are so far out of the mainstream as to be deemed irrelevant.

Just my opinion, ban me if you want, I'm not sure I care that much any longer.

I’ve always had that opinion too, but this time there is no lesser of two evils. They are equally evil, or perhaps the witch is the lesser of the two. I’ve already read too many things about his life, and that alone would disqualify him for the presidency, not to mention all of his treasonous shenannigans in the Senate.

It comes down to how many liberal/socialists you want on the Supreme Court.

If Clinton wins, there is a chance that the Republicans would show a little backbone and Bork all of her liberal/socialist nominees.

If McCain wins, the Rebublicans will rubber stamp all of his liberal/socialist nominees.

Appears to be a no-brainer.
