These delegate counts represent CNN's most recent total for each candidate and break down pledged delegates and unpledged RNC member delegates, according to CNN's most recent survey of unpledged RNC members.

Ron Paul is a nice man, and I agree with him on some issues, but he doesn’t seem to understand Jihad.
after non-stop advertisement from the MSM, as well as the dems/liberals not having any dems to vote for... it was obvious mccain would get more votes
I am sick that the most conservative candidate, Duncan Hunter left, and even disappointed that Fred left, because he was at least fairly conservative.
But now my goal is to vote in the primaries for the candidate who will do the least amount of damage to our country, and it’s definitely not McCain who gutted our 1st amendment rights, among other things.
It’s not over yet.
Read the title of the thread:
“Delegate Count: McCain 97, Romney 74 (1,191 needed to win)”
Gonna go now and write my editor’s letter exposing McCain. :)
See ya later.
According to Fox News, Huckabee was second in delegates beginning today.
After taking Florida delegates, McCain jumped from third to first.
535 votes
Vote for Ron Paul in protest?
It’s kind of silly to vote for one liberal who you know is going to lose, just to show the liberal you know will win.
I think you have the wrong guy. I would NEVER vote for Ron Paul under any circumstances.
This race is far from over.
McCain only has 10% of the delegates that he needs.
McCain has never won the conservative vote, *anywhere*.
If the conservatives GET BEHIND ONE CANDIDATE - THAT CANDIDATE WINS.
PLEASE VOTE FOR MITT ROMNEY!
Now is the time for all good conservatives to rally behind the only candidate left who can stop John McCain the proamnesty RINO.
Mitt Romney is the one remaining conservative alternative to John McCain.
IF MCCAIN DOESNT FIT, VOTE FOR MITT.
Incredible people are ignoring the flaws in him. "I dont know how this backstabbing creep ever got as far as he has in presidential politics." True for Hillary and mcCain both!
No brokered convention.
The nominee will be Mitt Romney or John McCain.
Nobody else can come close.
MCCAIN DOESNT FIT - VOTE FOR MITT.

MCCAIN DOESNT FIT - VOTE FOR MITT.
“Good chance of a brokered convention. “
Not at all. This is a 2 man race - McCain and Romney.
If it were not for the Gov Crist endorsement of McCain, Romney would have won in Florida. Rudy will endorse McCain. One of two things happens:
- Mccain rolls up the establishment endorsements and wins
- or, conservatives rally around Romney and Romney wins
It’s now all up to conservatives across the nation. Do you want to stop McCain or do you want to let him win.
Huck came in 4th and will be in single digits in most states going forward. You have to be #1 in the states to collect delegates and he wont be #1 anywhere after McCain gets his ‘mo’. He’s going nowhere but home. However, lots of conservatives can throw the election to McCain by voting for Huckabee instead of Romney.
Look for Romney to be in the lead in UT, CO, IL, MN, MO, AZ(!), NM ... basically Romney can sweep the mountain and midwest and upper northern states, and goe toe-to-toe in CA.
With Rudy’s endorsement, McCain will lock up NJ, NY and CT.
3 way races in southern states like TN, GA, etc.
I wouldnt count any candidate out there.
Please FIRST vote for MITT in the primary.
he’s a much better choice for conservatives than pro-amnesty John McCain!
You would want that before the convention....
... where (R) stands for RINO. We’re seeing some really wacky endorsements; gotta be a lot of machinations going on behind the scenes.
He most definately was not my first choice, but in the end, I voted for Romney as a purely pragmatic choice, because of 1) all we know about McCain’s record and tendencies and 2) Romney will better stand scrutiny and pressures of general race (look at how the media has ignored him and praised McCain).
Wish there was a better way to choose a leader.
McCain is scary. I don’t know what to do. I’ll be voting for Romney on Tuesday, but I really don’t know what to do if McCain gets the nomination. I never thought I would not vote or vote for someone else, but McCain makes it very difficult.
Please consider writing an editor’s letter to your home town newspaper to let conservative Republicans know how liberal McCain is. It can be as short as saying that liberal Democrats come to McCain when the want a senator from the “other side.”
Like McCain/Feingold (limits free speech); Mc/Cain/Kennedy (amnesty); McCain/Lieberman (50 cent gas tax per gallon of gas)
Well, for Fred then, as I assume he'll be on the ballot.
