If McCain is elected, he'll try the same triangulation tactic Clinton successfully used. Only in Clinton's case, it was mostly verbal. He only went along with the Republicans when he had to. McCain won't wait until the Democrats have him over a barrel to compromise. He'll compromise with them as his starting point. This will further marginalize true conservative Republicans.

He will flip like Schwartzeneggar. So Republicans will end up going against him 100% like here in CA. Successful so far. They helped kill his health care bill yesterday.
