“I was dismayed at work today to find that a friend of mine went to see McCain speak here in Orlando this weekend and was impressed enough to talk several other friends into voting for him this morning.”

It is very possible that they went ahead and voted for Romney anyway. They just didn’t want to get into a political discussion.

I bet he would go to actual WAR if the need be.

Isn't he the same guy that wants to pull the troops out immediately?

No its not, it is true, repulsive is for those who refuse to see the truth.

YOU are repulsive because a person can strew you up the behind and you will still pull their lever.

Google “Jimmy McCain”
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/15/us/politics/15romney.html?n=Top/Reference/Times%20Topics/People/C/Cooper,%20Michael

“Senator John McCain, a former prisoner of war in Vietnam, by contrast, goes out of his way to avoid talking publicly about his son Jimmy, a marine who was recently deployed to Iraq. Mr. McCain has another son, Jack, who is at the United States Naval Academy.”

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2003494878_mccain26.html

“Over three months of rigorous training, 80 of the 500 recruits quit. McCain “did really well. He was a squad leader for a while,” Stam said. “He started out as John McCain’s son ... and became Private McCain, just another Marine.”

Stam said McCain signed up for the infantry. He reports to Camp Pendleton for more training early next month and could deploy by mid-2007.

“He decided to choose one of the most dangerous jobs in the Marine Corps, and I respected him for it,” Stam said. “He could have chosen something where he would be safe.””

NRO has updated and clarified some of the leaked poll results. I think I have this right:

The exit poll (2nd wave) that showed McCain +1.7 did not include absentee ballots.

The absentee ballots “preferred Romney, 34 percent to 28 percent. Giuliani is described as “far behind.”

Add to that, the polls in the Pan Handle will still be open for an hour, and most of McCain’s voters are already in bed; you realize we really no nothing yet.

“You honestly think Ron Paul still has a chance with the nomination?”

Ron Paul has a huge campaign fund, and most people assume he will be somewhere on the ballot this November.

My son has served 8 years, I don’t want him serving 1 day for John MCCain. Maybe Paul is the answer, at least he is a strict constitutionalist.

I bet he would go to actual WAR if the need be.

**************

I don't trust Paul to defend our country. McCain would give it away by allowing unrestrained illegal immigration, and Paul would allow the war to come here. Neither is a good choice.

Don’t worry, your son will not be serving under McCain. But do worry your son will be serving under either Obama or Hillary or both. But don’t worry because they are bringing the troops home.

Kondracke, the conservative hater, is saying that Cuban-Americans are going for McCain, bigtime...

It's not just speculation. All the Cuban-American politicians have joined McCain's campaign. Because all these voters live together, they are very easy to collect and take to the polls to vote. It's a big boost to a campaign running statewide in FL.
