This is because the Glock 40’s are blowing up.
I have 2 Glock .357’s that are the boss. I would have liked to get my service weapon when I left LEO work but Sig’s are a little pricey.
They were previously issuing Smith & Wessons and were probably comfortable with their relationship with the company.
The Glock Kb propaganda is a little yesterday, dontcha think?
Has not happened to mine nor any other’s I’ve owned or those owned by friends and family.
Do you have a source on this?
I shoot 40S&W in my Glock 23 with no problems, if I was to shoot hotter loads )+P) or a lot of reloads I would get another barrel that supports the case better. The 40S&W round is basically a 10mm short but its a high pressure round nevertheless, I do find it is a bit harder to keep on target with it compared to a .45ACP with its lower case pressure and velocity. Its a good cartridge better than a 9mm but I prefer to use a 10mm.
