'If we surrender and wave a white flag, like Senator Clinton wants to do, and withdraw, as Gov. Romney wanted to do, then there will be chaos, genocide, and the cost of American blood and treasure would be dramatically higher.
Seems extremely dishonest to me. What about McCain's statement there don't you understand?

Great. Repubs are bitterly split between McCain and Romney, just like the Dems are split over Obama and Clinton. The end result is that unless we decide on a Republican candidate and support that candidate, we get Hillary for 8 years!
I don’t like either Romney or McCain. But they still dominate Cliton and Obama.

If we elect the unstable McCain, the Panderer Huckabee, the flip flopper Romney or the liberal Rudy we are screwed. In other words, we are screwed. Exactly. I am despondent. Romney actually seems to me to be the one to deserve both flip flopper AND panderer labels, but it doesn't matter.

Although I have a number of questions about Romney, he is to the right of McCain/Huckabee. McCain is out of the question as his amnesty votes and mental state reveal. I do not know if Romney can defeat Hillary but he has a far better chance than McCain.
Voters take into account not only issues but other traits - to varying degree - ranging from important to trivial. To the best of my recollection, below are eleven of them and I added immigration/amnesty issue. IMHO, Romney rates better on every point that Hillary. McCain rates the same or worse than Hillary.
1. Experience
2. Character
3. Health
4. Appearance
5. Presidential comportment
6. Likability
7. Character of spouse
8. Personal family life
9. Washington insider
10. Donors/supporters
11. Scandals
12. Immigration/amnesty

If McCain is the GOP nominee, I’ll vote FOR HILLARY. No kidding, it’s the only way we could have a chance to win back the Congress and stop her.

That’s pretty much the way I view it and WHY we’ll be voting for Mitt now that Fred has withdrawn.
I think Mitt can beat Hillary or the black empty suit. Since race is being highlighted, so be it! I’ll highlight it too. As for angry leftist feminist, they’ll vote for Hillary. It’s not a pleasant choice for Demoncrats either.

I would never vote for McCain. Aside from his left wing issues, something is not right with him. He has reminded me of the Manchurian Candidate since 2000.

McCain seems pretty stable to me - he’s always just about to explode.
Now that’s stable.

I remember hearing McCain on Imus when Clinton was going into the Balkans
I agreed with everything he said about how wrong it was etc etc
Then he goes out and supports the war
Guy is mentally unstable
His pushing for trade and opening relations with North Vietnam
has got to be a red flag —something doesn’t compute
