Pelosi and Reid should be roundly criticised for assisting in the creation of the separation of Americans, a la Canada with the French and English cultural groups.
This is really shameful. If you are an American, you should be able to ubderstand the speech in English, or desire to do so.
Looks like she is well fed off the taxpayer contributed salary. Maybe we should ban McDonald’s along with smoking. Better for universal health care.

What, couldn’t find a U.S. Senator for this? Had to get a state senator?
I live in Los Angeles. My mother was Latina and I’ve inherited her olive skin and long dark brown hair. Whenever I go into a Hispanic-owned business, I’ll almost always get spoken to in Spanish. I respond in English. They always understand at least enough English to understand what I want. I don’t think even they would need a Spanish response to the State of the Union.

I swear, you get a barker and you could charge 2 bits to see this freak show. Glad to see Pelosi and Reid bring some dignity to the Central Government. I now demand a Dutch version of the State of the Union to be delivered prior to the Sanglish response, and then a Gealic response to the respone to be simulcast in Bantu and Urdu.
