So meditating in/before/at class, and saying “thank you Allah, praise be to you.” over a loudspeaker is ok in public school to you? Muslims pray 5 times a day to Mecca, many religions meditate, would you be ok with a child or teachers professing or repeating any of these religious beliefs and traditions to your children?
I think it’s just best to leave all of it out and let the parents teach religion and spirituality.
Did you read my post?
There is no possible action that a government school could take that would be religiously neutral. The government is faced with a binary decision. It allows the name of Jesus or it doesn't. It allows saying "Thank you Allah" or it doesn't. Neither position is religiously neutral. No matter what the government decides, the government will **establish** the religious worldview of some and trash that of others.
There never was, is not now, and never can be a religiously neutral education. It does not and can not exist! It is axiomatic!
Government schools are a freedom of conscience and First Amendment abomination.
Solution: Get government out of the school business!!!
