Jon is out and about pressing the flesh and raising much needed funds, his opponent Andre Carson already has the promises of a DCCC that is flush with Moonbat cash will finance his campaign.
Today in the Indianapolis Star (linking not permitted, you can go to IndyStar.com and see the article), Brendan O'Shaughnessy wrote:
"In less than six months, Andre Carson has gone from being a State Excise Police officer to a City-County Council member, an engineering firm [Paul I. Cripe] marketing executive and now a candidate for his grandmother's congressional seat"
What is not said is Andre Carson was handed each of those "jobs" as a political favor. The Excise Police job was a favor called in by his grandmother, the late Julia Carson. The City-County Council seat was a set-up because a councilor was caught not living within his district. Andre Carson was unopposed for the seat, again at Grandmama's behest. Andre Carson's job as a "marketing specialist" for an engineering firm is the most Democrat politcally connected firm in Indianapolis. This was a favor most likely called in by former Mayor Bart Peterson. It's very likely you never see Mr. Carson actually working there. It's more to provide a salary while he campaigns for Congress. Remember this is the same Andre Carson that received the endorsement of none other than Louis "Screwy Louie" Farakkhan at his grandmother's political rall....errr I mean funeral.
Jon Elrod on the other hand in between his responsibilities to the Indiana House of Representatives, his family's law practice, and campaigning for Congress he still has time to get out and do some 'Community Theatre':
"In a recent tryout for a community theater production, Jon Elrod won the part of Felix, the neat and organized half of 'The Odd Couple,' He thought he could have played Oscar, the sloppy character, but cast members and directors thought he fit the bill for the tidy and methodical role."
