Did it ever occur to anyone that just maybe, deep down, Bill doesn’t want Hillary to become POTUS?

It might not even be that deep down. He was on Comedy Central one night I think it was, maybe with John Stewart. When asked about what he thought about Hillary becoming Pres, he stated under his breath "jokingly", "I'd slit my throat". I thought THEN that he wasn't joking, more sure of it now.
