They were miffed, of course, at Fred’s attitude towards them. Since the beginning, the Drive-Bys have been trying to choose our candidate for us — one that Hillary! can beat — which is why they’re pushing hard for McCain. They know he’s Bob Dole ‘08.
And they’ll get what they deserve.
Fred ran a lousy campaign, and surely would have run a similar campaign in the general election.
He would have made the best president, but the trouble is he had to get himself elected first, and he didn’t have much interest in working at that.
