Thank you for your kind comments. I am crying at the loss of this great man who was so kind, gentle, loving, and brilliant. I know he is with his beloved wife now and is able to converse face to face with our Savior Jesus Christ. He has finished the race. Well done. I am so proud of his legacy.

Hello Saundra. It is a sad time but, as you said, he “finished the race” and his life was truly one of service and love. Not everyone leaves a legacy, and it’s a rare man that leaves such an admirable legacy as President Hinkley has. He will be missed but his legacy lives on and will help others with their lives.

Condolences to all the Mormon FReepers - Mr. Hinkley was a good man and a wonderful leader. I cried the day my own dear spiritual leader - John Paul II - died, so I can empathize.
