I’ll do a write in before I vote Democratic on this ticket. Then again, I’m not on medication.

I understand your sentiment but McCain is not going to win the nomination, IMO. Mitt is looking pretty good and McCain's lies are catching up to him.

Straight Talk: Thad Cochran, U.S. Senator (Miss) who endorsed Romney, recently said his choice was prompted partly by his fear of how McCain might behave in the Oval Office. "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine," Cochran said about McCain by phone. "He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me." (Source: http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/01/27/famed_mccain_temper_is_tamed/)

You won't get the chance to vote against McCain in November because McCain won't be on the ballot.

Mitt is It!

Had too much coffee?

If by some disaster McCain is our nominee, and by some miracle he holds it together and wins the election, I will be thankful that Obama is not our president, because no matter how much damage McCain can do to conservatism and our country, it’s not nearly as bad as Obama’s reaction the first time the terrorists strike us again.

Sorry, but being conservative is not a death wish. Obama could well be the leader who allows terrorists to WIN. For whatever else McCain does, I don’t think he’ll let the terrorists win.

He will just make sure that after they lose, they get full geneva protection and access to our courts and really good food.

Here are the Senators who voted against the Cornyn amendment , which would have established a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals looking to snag a shamnesty visa. Republicans underlined:

Never forget McCain not only pushed the amnesty bill, he refused to allow exculsions for the worst of the lot. And he unloaded on his mild-mannered senate colleague for having the audacity to introduce this amendment.

Apologies to any who feel I am spamming this message on campaign threads, but it is an important message on a key vote which needs to get out.

McCain’s determination to “get bin Laden” places shallow political theater within the heart of his campaign. Our real enemy is Wahhabi jihadism, not the latest sociopath prophet emerging from the Wahhabi/Salafi heresy.

Wahhabi/Salafi heresy not only justifies oligarchy, but also empowers stateless terrorism. This heresy considers Jews, Christians, Sunnis, Shi’as and secularists sub-human, legitimate objects for slaughter. These terrorists suborn traditional Muslim loyalties valuing family, tribe and country, and substitute limitless murder and destruction. Terrorist converts are not all stereotypical primitives, but also university graduates accommodating fanaticism within academic excellence in sciences and engineering. Hence, frightening capabilities emerge from fifty-year-old worldwide technologies and stockpiles for weapons such as Davy Crockett missiles firing 51-pound nuclear 0.02-kiloton warheads, and Astor torpedoes carrying Hiroshima size warheads. Chemical and biological agents can now emanate from dual-use facilities, and cottage industries.

State Department reports many African, Oriental and Asian countries becoming allies against Wahhabi jihadism. Yet they remember our pathetic responses to fifteen terrorist actions by four successive Presidents. Minimum penance demonstrating credibility obliges persistence for Iraq representative government. Credibility requires thwarting al Qaeda determination for Babylon to become the rallying point for the Caliphate.

Sustaining initiatives of African, Oriental and Asian countries brings Global War on Terror victory by frustrating plans, breaking alliances and fracturing organizations of Wahhabi jihadists into ever less effective units. Without cities, countries or armies they live out unnaturally shortened lives as pariahs. Sun Tzu would consider mobilizing allies to minimize our own bloodshed an extraordinary warfare achievement.

There is still hope, Mitt , the Mayor, and Huck,

Thanks for the vote but I pulled out long ago due to lack of funds.

McCain might have a snowball’s chance against Hillary but in my judgement he would have no chance at all in any sort of a debate or one/one against Barack Obama.

You so called conservatives that will vote for McCain for president if he wins the nomination will hurt the conservative movement for decades.

I can understand your reasoning -- McCain is awful beyong words, but I'll vote for any Republican over Hillobama because we'd get better Supreme Court justices (maybe two) and any Republican is much more likely to do what I consider the most important, immediately necessary job -- stop Iran's nuke program.

There is still hope, Mitt , the Mayor, and Huck, ( I will hold my nose )

There is no hope with this current crop of RINO's.

There is only compromising one's core conservative beliefs/principles if you vote for any of these knuckleheads.

Rudy = Gun-grabing, Gay-rights, Pro-abortion

Huck = Bill Clinton sans bimbo-eruptions

Mitt = 1970's gameshow host who panders to every socio/economic/region he campaigns at. (Plus he's the one who dropped the "Fred Is Dropping Out" rumor the day of the Iowa Caucus, allegedly.)
