I remember everyone who sent a message by voting for Ross Perot. Hellooooo President Clinton....
Helloooooo President Clinton, not just once, twice, and now perhaps thrice, and on and on......Seems we may never be able to get rid of these people.
It also gave us the Contract with America and the broke a 50-year precedent with the GOP takeover of Congress.
Apparently the republican party was too stupid to learn that lesson and has again fielded a group of unacceptable candidates. It' the republicans who are choosing to place a democrat in the White House by their fielding a list of bad candidates. It's not enough to say so and so is better than a democrat...can't the republicans field someone better than the lesser of 2 evils?!
Which led to a defeat for KERRY/GORE!
Maybe they sent a message that the GOP needed to change. Which it did enough to win in 1994. (Do you keep going to a restaurant that serves terrible food, because they’ll get the message and improve?)
