Why would you call them my authorities? I have not given jurisdiction over my soul or my mind. One of the chief messages of Christ, and the one he was killed for, was that we each have a personal, direct relationship with God. We do not need priests manning the toll booths on the highway to heaven or manning the Pearly Gates.
Whatever. If you belong to a Church you have some kind of an authority there. I never said you gave anyone "jurisdiction" over either your heart or mind.
The point I was making is...Orthodox Catholic theologians will tell you that Mormons do not believe in christian orthodoxy. Mormons do not believe Deity belongs only in the Godhead, and they believe they will be gods some day and they have other non-orthodox beliefs as well, some of which I've outlined in previous posts.
