one hears about fundamentalists Christians being well recieved in Israel but not so well here by more liberal Jews

I wondered how Mormons fared with Jews both here and in Israel.

(why on earth would you wonder if I was disappointed by your answer to an innocuous question...it’s not like I asked the meaning of life)

Sorry if I sounded a bit defensive - all one has to do in FR - or just about anywhere is mention: "Indians" or "Mormons" and people get apoplectic...

Seriously, the venom, especially from purported Christians, is mind-boggling

I suppose there are, but I’ve never seen a Mormon in Israel personally. I’ve seen them in Lebanon, though.
