While I cannot disagree with your reasoning I think we all need to keep in mind the negative rating of any Rep Candidate.
This election could end up being a series of voting lines with everyone ‘Holding their nose’ before entering the booth to vote - BOTH Reps and Dems. A not surprising development given the retreads that are likely to be put up.

Agreed,if McCain is the nominee it will be really tough to get the base out period. Many I am afraid will just stay home. It will become the battle of the bit_hes!!
