I for one am glad I went back a few pages in the thread. I just laughed my head off for half an hour! You guys' description of Hillary's speech was the best thing I 've read all week! I swear I'll never be able to look at the pantsuit again without looking for the catheter!

For my own two cents I have to say there's no way she'll pick Obama for VP. Even the Demoncrats aren't stupid enough to put the first woman and the first black man on the same ticket. He wouldn't be stupid enough to do it. He's got a great career ahead of him. Besides, she doesn't owe Obama any favors.

IMO, that would be the best thing the Dems could do. I see it as a win-win situation for the Rats.

1) Clinton/Obama win...all well and good.

2) The Republican ticket wins...this presents several scenarios;

a) With problems (real or imagined) like the WOT, the illegal invasion, financial unrest, global warming, health care etc. the Rats will have plenty of ammo, with the help of the MSM, to pillory the new administration. Especially when you consider the weak field that the Reps have.
If the nation fares poorly on any of these, the Rats will blame it on 12yrs. of Rep rule.

b) It gives the Rats the opportunity to scream “racism” and/or “sexism” for four years.

c) Since the Congress will most likely remain in Rat hands, no good legislation (tax cuts, spending restraints, border security) will be passed. Again, this will be laid at the feet of the administration with the assistance of the MSM.

In reality, I think the country’s biggest problem with a Clinton/Obama ticket will come from unrest at the polls in Nov. I believe the brouhaha of FL in 00 or Ohio in 04 will pale by comparison to what will happen on election day nationally. The Rats believe that if chaos ensues, they will come out on top.
