If Obama had a spine, he would loudly and publicly call the Clintons on this and the media, even the Clinton-loving media (which is 95% of the media), would be forced to cover his clarion call.

If he only had a spine...

Obama probably remembers what happened to Ron Brown and others when they challenged the Clintons. The Clintons are vicious and unprincipled and are assisted at every step by the MSM. The politics of personal destruction is not just what the Clintons are about it is the only thing the Clintons are about.

Maybe this is the VLWC plan, could this be the beginning of a beautiful relationship, The Hill and Barack show?
Just wondering how the R’s could play that!

Good, I would rather the Queen of Democrats win, she can’t hide her liberalism behind skin color hype.

Jessee Jackson and Al Sharpton seem very quiet on this.
(Have not seen them in months .... Social unrest on Vacation?)

I guess they got their Lincoln Bedroom reservations and reserved seats on Air Force One.

The Clintoons are playing political chess - and winning.

They double team Obama - playing both the race and gender moves.

If he retaliates - they play the 'Hillary's a victim' defense.

If he ignores them - they play the 'Obama's a wimp' offense.

Checkmate

He is the black candidate, so Hillary is doing everyone a favor by doing the dirty work that most others would cower from. She has more cover from being barbecued as a racist.

When she's done getting rid of this highly dangerous candidate, you can use her tactics against Obama as a weapon against her & use it as proof of her evilness or whatever. Now that liberals have seen her true face, they've been disillusioned & you can capitalize on that.

If you haven't heard Christopher Hitchens interview about Clinton, you can find the information here.

It's very good.

Well, I’ve been writing, best I can, to beseech people to think do you want this dysfunctional hillbilly family back in the White House? Do you want this guy back in the Lincoln bedroom, this interminable self-pitying, paranoid demagogue? Christopher Hitchens on the Clintons

They just weren’t looking for it from the Democrats.

Oh, yeah, the Republicans are the main practitioners of dirty politics. Bite my @$$ MSM f@ggots.

After the Clinton-Attack-Machine (CAM) finishes with Obama he will be known as a KKK-sympathizer, with a history of turning dogs and fire hoses on peaceful black protesters in the 1960’s civil rights marches!

Obama needs a good political judo move. He needs to figure how to use the Clinton’s attacks against them. The first thing would be the next time the Clinton’s even mention anything about his money raising he should file an FEC complaint to determine if Hillary actually returned the HSU money. I would then start playing clips of the Clinton’s speeches where they contradict themselves. If he wants to win the primary it is time to stake her in the heart. Being nice isn’t going to win. Just ask Carl McCall.

Son House is probably right, that it’s better for our side if Hillary wins this.

But on a humorous note, I have listened to Obama and have found my voice.

I work in an extremely leftwing software house in NYC (like probably nearly all companies in NYC) where normally I don’t speak any politics at all and I am now free to speak openly and belligerently against those horrible, horrible Clinton’s and their disgustingly filthy interjection of race into this campaign. Which is true.

And all the leftist sheep in my office are forced to nod their heads gravely and listen to my points.

I love it!

Clarification: it's probably better for our side if Hillary wins the RAT nomination.

(Not the election. Though some here are actually saying that.)

The Clinton Attack Machine is just warming up. It has been rather inactive for 8 years. They are knocking the dust and rust off and getting it polished up.

Obama is just target practice.

The real object will be the Republican nominee.

If Obama thinks he has it rough, just wait until the Clinton Attack Machine unleashes it full salvos against the Republican.

And you can bet your bottom dollar they are actively collecting dirt on all the candidates who might be their opposition in November.

IMO, the only way to beat the Clintons is to out-Clinton them. That means going on the offensive and staying on the offensive. When you're forced to continually respond to their attacks, it takes you off message and gives them the upper hand.

There hasn't been anyone they've faced who's really wanted to get down in the mud with them, but it's the only way.

This doesn't mean telling lies about them. All you have to do is tell the truth relentlessly and there's a lot of undisputed truth out there.

Now if you do that, the Clintons will immediately respond with "no attack ever fed a starving child" and "we don't need to go back to the politics of personal destruction", blah, blah. But those are defensive responses.

It's Obama's only chance, IMO.

They double team Obama - playing both the race and gender moves.

As one commentator said, the Clintons have a way of pulling their opposition down in the mud with them.

They make unfounded allegations that are so egregious that the opponent must decide:
[1] ignore and hope the mud doesn't stick, or

[2] respond and end up in the ditch with one of the Clintons.
It is a no-win situation for the opponent. It is sort of the when did you quit beating your wife allegation.

Do NOT underestimate her!

Many of the Pubbies keep saying they want the Pubbie candidate to face her in the general election. They forget how vicious and play-for-keeps that Clinton Attack Machine is.

They think her defeat will be easy. They need to watch how that Machine decimates Obama in the coming weeks.

Can Hillary nominate Obamma for VP? I doubt it; it might be too clever by half to have the

"First Woman POTUS
and
First Black VPOTUS Candidate"
ticket.

Richardson would be the first Hispanic, and she might do well with that since he is a governor and therefore has some credibility.

The way to attack this cynical Clinton ploy would be for the Republicans to nominate a qualified black VPOTUS candidate. Unfortunately, they are thin on the ground. In the past I would have recommended Thomas Sowell - but by now he is over 75 yo and apparently his health isn't perfect.
