"He pleaded guilty in 2006 to one count of providing services to members of the terrorist group, rather than face a retrial. He was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison and will be deported after serving the sentence. A judge lifted the contempt charge in December, and he is expected to be released as early as April."

I don't get it. He pled guilty, was sentenced to 4 yrs 9 mos and will get out in April? Wish I could do my banking with that math.

I think he got credit for time served in the pokey while awaiting trial.

He should be doing life in GITMO.
