I wouldn’t say that there’s anything hidden about gitmo and it’s not a concentration camp.
It’s a prison camp.
People are brought there without beeing sentenced by a court for an undefinded time.
They don’t have any status that would grant them any prisoners rights.
They get tortured but not to a degree that their health gets seriously damaged.
There are no mass killings.
There are no medical experiments conducted on them that result in their death.
So it’s safe to say that gitmo is no concentration camp.
President Bush made a tough decision to establish this camp.
He has given the signal that the US do not value law and justice above the efford to gain control over several hostile islamistic groups.
