According to health officials, about 230 cases of vaccine-related fainting among girls were reported between 2005 and July 2007.

So little information .... Out of how many doses administered? And how does this compare to, say, fainting rates among girls who receive flu vaccinations? Has it been established that the vaccine caused the fainting? Or could something like anxiety about the vaccine (or shots in general) be to blame?

There are few things so capable of causing stupid reactions as a statistic presented without context.

Maybe the vaccine really is bad for some folks ... but if you're gonna claim it, you've got to prove it.
