Nobody’d show up ... Bond doesn’t have much of a good record regarding people that care about him.

Then again — neither does Jack Bauer — (wife killed; daughter estranged; ex-mistress was spy [he killed her]; best friend blown up; best friend’s wife blown up; close friend (ex-President) assassinated; 4-different bosses killed (one by him); ex-partner estranged (after he chopped his arm off with an axe).

Jason Bourne had his girlfriend, the only person he cared about, killed in the 2nd movie. Otherwise — he’s got no bloody idea who he is.

John McClain is divorced ... but at least everyone’s alive.
