it’s usually the ones that think that drop dead looks and hot sex is all there is that get taken for fools. nothing wrong with good looks and hot sex, but you gotta judge the entire package to make the right choice.

But can’t you imagine a story based around him actually spending a holiday with family?

her stated reasons are beyond thin. her husband is a pansy and she is a horrible role model for any future relationships her children may have. do people even think of that? that in their marriage, and relationship with their spouse, they are modeling for their children what male-female relationships/marriages are supposed to be like. i think many don’t think of that, and it is a shame.

I”ve said that before - that a woman who stays in an abusive relationship is teaching her daughters that it is ok for a man to beat up on them, and teaching their sons it is ok to beat wives/girlfriends. Loveless/sexless marriages teach the same thing to kids - Sometimes a divorce is a better alternative.

Nobody’d show up ... Bond doesn’t have much of a good record regarding people that care about him.
Then again — neither does Jack Bauer — (wife killed; daughter estranged; ex-mistress was spy [he killed her]; best friend blown up; best friend’s wife blown up; close friend (ex-President) assassinated; 4-different bosses killed (one by him); ex-partner estranged (after he chopped his arm off with an axe).
Jason Bourne had his girlfriend, the only person he cared about, killed in the 2nd movie. Otherwise — he’s got no bloody idea who he is.
John McClain is divorced ... but at least everyone’s alive.
