The only one that I think has a chance to pick good judges would be Huckabee.

I agree. I absolutely would trust The Huckster to pick good judges over Romney. But he's got some real slimy credibility problems. He sides with the ACLU on closing GITMO because it makes us "look bad in the world". He sounds like a liberal. You really want a president making foreign policy decisions based on how we look? He wants to outlaw waterboarding. That alone has probably saved us from being attacked and winning the war on terror. Not to mention I can't trust him on fiscal policy, his track record is too clear.

For me, Romney's are as bad.

Basically in this respect, you trust a man that lowers taxes and raised fees more than enough to cover over a man that raised and then lowered taxes. (Both of which claim not to have raised them... I know.) My hope is the if Huckabee gets the nod that he seems to at least listen to others on what to do. I cannot help but envision Romney reverting to form and running the country in the same way he did Mass.

It’s regrettable that you evidently did not learn of the news yesterday... Fred Thompson’s judicial nominations advisory committee, led by Victoria Toensing, has endorsed Romney.
