AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, a highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with talent on loan from G-d, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

IT'S OPEN LINE FRIDAY!

I just came back from the movie. I won't give away much, just a couple of things, and then not completely. First of all, I will dispense with the "Ramboloney" comment. Any given movie can be tagged with "baloney." After all it's a MOVIE! That being said, I loved it! It is of course, a guy movie. Knives, LOUD guns, and LOUD explosions.

The basic plot is that a group of Christians from Colorado go to Burma to bring medicine and Bibles to the oppressed villagers. Enroute to the village they get intercepted by river pirates. The pirates and Rambo have a "philosophical" disagreement and Rambo uses his super eloquence and mastery of logic to get them to change their minds.

The Christians get to the village and it is raided by the military thugs. I'll give one thing away here. You get the impression that the blond Christian woman will be raped by the thug in charge. It doesn't happen. Why do you ask? Ok, I'll tell you (but don't tell anyone else.) It's because he's a HOMO! He rapes men!

Of course the group, most of them, gets rescued and has to flee the pursuing thugs. Rambo sets a booby trap for the pursuing troops and it was a happy happy joy joy time of the movie. (It is a highly improbable trap, but I won't give the reason why.) And what happens to the thug leader is thoroughly satisfying considering something he threatened the villagers with earlier in the movie.

There is the battle with the troops near the end of the movie. Saving Private Ryan did what I consider a pretty good depiction of what happens to the body when heavy calibre ammunition hits it. This movie reinforces that in spades with what happens when mortars and heavy calibre ammunition are used. There is none of this "Oh, I've beet shot" stuff with people slowly slumping to the ground.

Now, to get on my soapbox for a second. Guns made this country free and guns have kept us free. Thank God for our military and thank God for our 2nd Amendment. Without either, the things that have happened to the villagers will, not may, but will happen to our citizens. I hate, and that is the proper word - HATE - all politicians who are actively trying to disarm us, and I spit on the cowardly judges who refuse to do their Constitutional duty to invalidate gun laws.

Now all this being said, I am hoping someone will come along and depict the atrocities being done in the name of Islam also.

Freeper ENTERPRISE gives this RAMBO movie two shots up!

Looks like Agent Smith finally got itself banned.

Hurray! It finally went too far. That will be a relief, even if it's only suspended rather than banned.
