On the subject of covering bases, you’ll note the 11/18/2000
contribution to Congressman Bobby Rush (founder of the Illinois Black Panthers). Obaba ran against Rush in the 2000 primary, that’s likely what the 1999 Obama contributions are about. Guess he had to make up after Rush wonn.
