Why McCain Would Be Worse Than {GW} Bush
WND.com ^ | 01-25-08 | Buchanan, Patrick J.

Posted on 01/25/2008 4:53:01 AM PST by Theodore R.

Excerpt:

In 2004, the voters of Arizona, by 56 percent to 44 percent, enacted Proposition 200, requiring proof of citizenship before an individual may vote or receive state benefits. Forty-six percent of Hispanics voted for Prop. 200, giving the lie to those who say Hispanics support the illegal invasion of their country.

Over 190,000 Arizonans petitioned to put Prop. 200 on the ballot. As it simply required proof of citizenship before receiving the benefits and privileges of citizenship, who could oppose it? Answer: the entire GOP congressional delegation, led by Sen. John McCain.

"Bush was anointed by the GOP and everyone here pulled the the lever. 99% of you will follow this again with McCain. Kick and scream, you will vote for him."

Don't count on it.

If McCain is the Republican Candidate, he will make Mondale vs. Reagan look like a close race. He might win two states maybe.

Buchanan leaves out the global warming hoax, on which McCain is also worse than Bush.

I agree that McScream will be/would be as bad as Jorge Bushwinski has been. In my 40 years of voting, I HAVE NEVER been as disappointed with a candidate that I voted for as Bush.

I can understand why you think like you think. However, three things President Bush did and stuck to in-spite of McCain and his liberal herd were (1)Tax cuts... (which McCain opposed in making permanent under pretend guise of spending cuts) (2)NOT giving into the liberals demand of unionizing Homeland Security... (remember Georgia senatorial election wailing and gnashing of teeth over the crippled vet) and (3)Fighting these barbaric terrorists.

Every step of the way McCain was the leader of the opposition seeking to destroy a president and to get his revenge using the legislative process to control of all things 'speech' giving liberals stealth financing of their candidates. McCain's ruthless assaults with the help of his liberal media jocks got Rummy, which to this day he gleefully sneers as his main conquest.

Now these leftist had a global crusade against George Bush, remember that German socialist accusing George Bush to be 'Hitler'/Nazi like and all the liberals swooned? Given this global assault to protect Saddam and those who wanted him to continue that UN Oil for rotten Food scam did their utmost to destroy a President.

President Bush did what he had to do to fund and fight this war by letting these liberals have their way for the most part domestically. Meaning NOTHING would be done to stop the illegal invasion... we were sent a warning by those sanctuary cities having their marches as to what their intent was, it was a THREAT.

Now given the majority of our military is otherwise occupied and these global leftist as demonstrated from the beginning by the ANSWER crowd some choices had to be made. No I am NOT happy with was has happened but these liberal mooooolahs do not care what happens to US, so long as they get their Alinsky revolution underway the sooner the better.

I left the GOP awhile back, or more accurately they left me, however, voting the lesser of two evils still leaves evil in the White House. Fred was my guy and I believe he would have put the country back on the right track. Now it is down to trying to save what we have.
As far as judges go none of the top guys have a very good record when it comes to appointments. Libs every last one of them, regardless of what they are saying now.

I said that he "defers" to them. I did not say he votes exactly the same. The problem is that he votes so close to them, compromises on core conservative values, that there really isn't that much difference.

As far as the "pet names" for the candidates: that goes on quite a lot around here. I know you're a newbie so maybe you haven't figured that out yet. Or perhaps you are so far and away superior to all the people who are not your intellectual equal here that you feel the need to explain that complicated concept called sarcasm.

(By the way, does SuperCapitanAmerica realize that he spelled "captain" wrong, or are you from New Mexico??)

Don’t people around here still remember last summer? Amnesty was getting approved in the dark of the night, and the man that was doing it was John McCain.

And now some people here trust him?

I saw the last half of the debate last night, and McCain came off terrible. Hopefully Florida will give this clown the third or fourth place finish he deserves.

“If McCain is the Republican Candidate, he will make Mondale vs. Reagan look like a close race.”

John McCain would beat Hillary Clinton, according to current polls which I believe are accurate. The most accurate pollster, Rasmussen, shows him smashing Hillary.

One thing the Fred disaster has taught me is that real conservative Republicans are only 10% of the party. John McCain will pick up enough independent and Democratic support to make up for losing us.

The current political outlook is John McCain wins, the USA and Republican Party lose. I hope that outlook changes, but I doubt that it will.

Great! Ron Paul will let you keep your guns, and you will have to use them when the Islamofacists follow our troops home to America. Mike Huckabee will let you keep your guns, and you will have to use them when the Mexicans invade seeking higher education at affordable prices.

That is why I will only vote for one who will stand up for it, and Romney aint it. As for Hill and Big O they would never get my vote, but I have to vote my principles more then just who will do the least damage.

So McCain votes the same as Hillary and Obama, I didn't know those Democrats were so conservative.

What he actually did was write their legislative agendas for them and rammmmmmed it down our throats... the liberal way things get accomplished. It was not Hillary's name on that 'campaign finance reformation' it was John McCain's and there was NOT one conservative thing about that anti-speech legislation. But Hillary sure has benefited the most from McCain's handiwork... ever heard of SOROS...

I never hear McCain thumping his chest over that big success like he does when he sneers about his Rummy conquest.

Or we can have them taken away and sit around on our thumbs and not be able to do anything but pray Big Brother will save us.
A gun in hand is better then a cop on the phone. As for Paul and the war let the snakes in DC file a formal declaration so they can stop trying weasel out of it like they have been, and cut out all the hand outs and pet projects to pay for the war without borrowing the money from the Chicoms. I believe in the fight we are in, but they way they have done things they are going to screw our guys the same way they did in Vietnam. The war Mitt’s dad was against because he claims he was brainwashed.

As I do yours, the most we can do in this world is what we think is right.

We didn’t listen to Pat in ‘92, and we’ve been paying the price ever since.

I don’t agree with him entirely on tariffs, but he’s been proven right about immigration.

I don’t trust the Republicans running to do any better on judges and Justices: especially McCain, Romney, or Giuliani.

I was thinkin' the same thing. McCain's "gun show loophole" crap would outlaw Face-to-face private sales.

It just gets worse from there...
