” She (AnneCoulter) has caught the same “pragmatism” bug that seems to be going around in Republican circles.”

Tom McClintok has managed to NOT succume to that disease.
He has come out for the ONLY conservative left in the race.
Now that is logical and consistent.
Damn the pragmatism disease - NO MORE LESSERof2Evils !!!

As screwy as RPaul’s foreign pols seem to be, he is the ONLY one that would certainly put a cabosh to any DemoRat congressional situation.
As point of interest/clarification, his position on Isreal is the most nuanced and best solution to Isreal’s delimma. Since US keeps Isreal from defending itself by supporting the Muslims at every turn, by removing US intervention as foreign policy that WOULD be a solid support for Isreal’s self defense.

I’ve become most annoyed at all those FReepers who say RP CAN’T be elected. Well if no solid conservatives will support the ONLY conservative remaining that would be correct.
Sad situation when abondoned reason/principals and failed common sense are dispensed for the cure to “pragmatism disease”.
Pragmatism disease IS WHAT GOT US HERE !!%##^^@@**!!!
Read the warning label folks !!!

I’ve become most annoyed at all those FReepers who say RP CAN’T be elected.

My opposition to RP has nothing to do with electability.

I am against his removal of American troops as per his promise. It is anathema to me. He would snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and I cannot support that.

I am against his position on Israel, despite your assurances. It disturbs me, to say the least. Standing behind Israel as a staunch ally is preferred to his non-interventionism. I cannot support him in that. The same can be said for anywhere else we have commitments around the world. We should keep our word.

Regarding the rest of his proposals, I feel he has already bitten off way more than he can chew. To take his slash-and-burn approach is too much by half.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in small government as much as anyone, but those reductions will need to take years... Just knocking the chocks out, as he purports to do is IMHO, an impossibility.

Regarding who I will give my vote to: I have committed myself, by way of reason and principle, to support the only other "only Conservative" in the race- That being Dr. Alan Keyes. While certainly considered as even less electable, no doubt, I find myself more in line with his Conservative, albeit somewhat less libertarian positions. I am certain of his integrity, and I am equally assured of his intentions.
