Well,,maybe on Life Support Gpapa...When Reagan was in office we had plenty of fire..Reps and Dems alike liked him, mostly, and he was ablt to think outside the box and he got a lot accomplished..His economic policies fired up the country, his good humor helped a lot..He was for CHANGE.
Then along came G>H>W>Bush with Dan Pheasant his trusty sidekick, and his main thing was Status Quo..
Agreed. I remember the first time I heard the "kinder, gentler" schtick, and I sensed that things were going backwards.
The GOP made a mistake in 1992, in not choosing an alternative nominee.
