not giving Giuliani tremendous credit in the clean up of NYC is simply ridiculous. Rudy ran on the issue and appointed Brattan to that post. Brattan is credited with the development of the Compstat program. They both deserve credit for the work they did there.
and rudy deserves credit for absolutely screwing the cops he campaigned so forcefully to. why exactly do you think the cops union officially hates him and will never back him?
Guiliani was a wonderful mayor of NYC. Since he left I won’t go back to the city. Went once and it looked awful. Bloomberg is an awful mayor.
