His brother was a member of this weird black racist cult called the Nuwaubians. They were bases in Middle Georgia a few years back. The cult leader was imprisoned for child prostitution and other such offenses. Wesley came to visit several times and may have been a member.

Yeah, the Nuwaubians were weird. They abandoned the compound a while back. The last time we visited Eatonton (after the exodus), their “temples” were in ruins. By temples, of course, I mean pyramids and obelisks that were nothing but brightly painted, poorly constructed, eyesores that had been thrown together from a pile of stucco and aluminum.
What a shame.
