I actually think Snipes is headed for the Big House. By the time these types of cases go to court, the defendant has passed on many chances to make his tax troubles go away without jail time. Since Snipes hasn’t even filed taxes in years, he’s baited the IRS into going for broke with him. Snipes’s allegations of racism will go nowhere with a jury, even an all-black jury. Snipes must really be nuts not to have filed taxes and he’s really nuts to think he has a reasonable chance of prevailing at trial.
