I was in Canada a few years ago, while there I went shopping in a Canadian department store, I remember seeing ladies hand bags... three different styles that was it, and all of them were black! It reminded me of stories in commie countries!

That's just part of Canadian mythology. Sort of like they believe they soundly defeated the US in the war of 1812, burned down the White House etc. I guess if it helps them sleep better at night.
