My guess is that Hunter knows a lot more then he can say publicly.

And I have a list of communist infiltrators... but I can't release it.

Yep, those Mormons are WAYYYYY better than the rest of us. And Mitt is a GOD...

Golly geeze he doesn’t even drink alcohol, or smoke or cheat on his wife.... squeeeky clean, he is.

The problem is, he lies. To me, that is a MUCH bigger flaw than having a glass of wine after dinner. But then again....I already said, I’m an old fashioned type of girl.

A man that will lie to your face, will stab you in the back. I wonder how many of those companies he took over liked his lies?

Nope, didn’t say that at all, just the item you’ve pointed out was pretty smart stewardship. There is no way I could do without the booze or caffeine. :-)

Would Romney be able to stop it, if it is his FORMER company??

Does Bill Gates have any influence in his "former" company?

Hunter also claimed Huckabee has superior "personal character" than Romney.... which also blows my mind.

I'm having trouble following your reasoning on this one. How is lies and making $100,000 a year off Marriott's porn industry squeaky clean????? Kind of makes you go WHOOP-DE-DOO about the not cheating on his wife or drinking caffeine don't it?

Except that he is happy to kill babies and grab guns.

So much for integrity.

Thanks for the ping, WalterSkinner.

I can see Hunter’s position quite clearly- Just on Pro-Life and Pro-2nd Amendment, Huckabee would have to be the one I would endorse too- Though I would have preferred no endorsement out of Hunter...

Perhaps there is more to it, or perhaps Hunter felt the need to endorse someone... He’s an old skool guy, and that is how the game used to be played.

Either way, If he had to endorse someone, Huck is the least unpalatable, and it makes little difference in regard to my faith in Hunter himself.

Fred was out the same time, if he was ever "in the race' to start with.

Fred Thompson was Karl Rove's political play-action pass.

It faked out many people, including most of FR, and took out the conservative candidates.

Duncan Hunter wants to be President. He’s not going to get there from here by way of amassing delegates via caucuses and/or primaries.

However, the longer that three or more candidates stay viable - particularly with Super Tuesday and so many more of the delegate votes being decided unprecedentedly early - the greater the possibility that multiple candidates can stack up significant numbers of delegates early on before they would ordinarily run out of money with nothing to show for it. This results in a scenario where no candidate will be able to obtain a majority because four candidates (McCain, Romney, Huckabee, and Guiliani) will have signifant totals between 20-30%, and you need 50%+1.

By endorsing Huckabee, especially as Guiliani now enters the race with at least a solid minority, if not winning anything outright, there could now be four viable candidates in terms of delegate votes by Super Tuesday.

Leading to a brokered convention. Face it: this is the only way that the conservative voice may finally be listened to, and where the sincerity and earnest logic of tried and true Reagan conservatism may still win the day.

I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’...

So basically he eliminated the others - McCain on immigration, Romney on ties to Chinese military.

To my knowledge Mitt did not inherit a fortune. No silver spoon. He made it with his own work and skill. Not many people have the smarts to do that. I wish I could. I would rather vote for someone with demonstrated success than a pure politician such as McCain and Huckabee.

Yes I lap up success. Mitt made money by acquiring outfits in trouble and turning them around. I am not worried about his flip on abortion. Between Reagan & the two Bushes, 20+ million abortions took place during their 20 years. Proves one thing, presidents can do zilch to stop abortions.

No candidate has a stronger record on the sanctity of life than I do. I have always been actively and aggressively pro-life. I first became politically active
when I helped pass Arkansas’ Unborn Child Amendment, which requires the state to do whatever it can to protect life.

As Governor, I used that Amendment to pass pro-life legislation. The many pro-life laws I got through my Democrat legislature are the accomplishments that give me the most pride and personal satisfaction. I banned partial birth abortion, I required parental notification, I required that a woman give informed consent before having an abortion, I required that a woman be told her baby will experience pain and be given the option of anesthesia for her baby, I allowed a woman to have her baby and leave the child safely at a hospital, and I made it a crime for an unborn child to be injured or murdered during an attack on his mother.

What I accomplished as Governor proves that there is a lot more that a pro-life President can do than wait for a Supreme Court vacancy, and I will do everything I can to promote a pro-life agenda and pass pro-life legislation. If I’m saddled with a Democrat Congress, I’ll veto any pro-abortion legislation they pass. I will staff all relevant positions with pro-life appointees. I will use the Bully Pulpit to change hearts and minds, to move this country from a culture of death to a culture of life. I have no desire to throw women in jail, I just want us to stop throwing babies in the garbage.

I don’t think Mitt is a trustee baby, he’s been pretty successful on his own.

Slick Willard - flip floppin' snake oil salesman who'll say anything to get elected.

McCain - RINO in Chief, McCain/Feingold, McCain/Kennedy. 'Nuff said.

Huckster - Another slick liberal gov'nur from Hope, Arkansas who has never seen a tax hike he doesn't like.

RuPaul - This guy is certifiably nuts!

Bye bye Miss GOP American Pie. Drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dried. Them good ol' boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye, the day Conservatism died. Guess I'll go dig a hole now and hunker down for the next 4 yrs.
