If I recall, people reported a flat metal object without seams which was about 1/2 mile wide. I don’t think that would be a fighter jet.
I’ve become more of a UFO skeptic in my old age, but wouldn’t it be facinating if this really happened?
But then my “reliable source” says they are all secret military programs.
The problem is, when looking at something in the sky, it is hard to judge size without a reference point because you can't determine how high it is. It could have been a lot closer to the ground than the witnesses perceived so they assumed it was much larger than it was.
I just figured that this sighting was of the heavy lift vehicle, the big blimp the mil is testing that will ferry tanks and such.
Many years ago, my dogs started acting squirrely and stood looking at the west-side living room window.
Curious cat that I am, I went out the back door into the warm summer night and looked around.
The stars were gloriously bright...and then I noticed that a HUGE part of the sky simply had no stars.
A black object, blacker than the night sky was flying slowly and majestically over the neighbor’s house which sits atop a ridge above me.
Three *tiny* little unblinking lights suggested it was triangular in shape.
Rather than panicking or feeling terrified, I felt awe, instead.
I don’t believe in “UFOs” and I assumed it was something of ours....so I cheerfully waved at whomever was piloting the thing.
With no sound that I could *hear* [but a definite internal “hum” could be felt], it simply glided over the northwest ridge and out of sight.
I went back inside and told hubby. [an ex-Air force/current aviation nut]
He was very upset that I did not run to fetch him so he could see it too but I simply didn’t want to miss a second of that grand, black procession occurring overhead.
On another evening, I watched what *appeared* to be three huge helicopters [judging by the sound] flying quite some distance apart, take the same path overhead.
Then, without warning, whatever it was accelerated with deafening speed and I realized that the three “helicopters” were actually one aircraft.
I have no idea what that was.
It was, however, waaaay cool....:)
I would suspect that the AF is having alot of things they need to cover up on this episode...and it relates to some recon vehicle. The funny thing is that they ought to utilize their huge area in central Neveda, and not go out across the nation...unless they are prepared for discovery.
Evidently we have had even some pretty large craft of our own for quite some decades.
However, we didn’t originate the technologies.
. . . according to my reliable relative.
A true flying alien craft wouldn’t advertise itself by using weird configurations of running lights...though I could see them using some type landing lights or headlights for running low to the ground or landing.
And not one...single...solitary...decent quality photograph of the object.
