But, of course, God wouldn’t strike down Annie Proulx for writing it. /s

When will this intermarried and inbred group of misfits get what they deserve?

No press and complete ignorance.

Except they’re left-wingers. They’re pretty tight with Al Gore.

They’re almost all members of the head wingnut’s extended family. Inbred at that.

Church my size 12 1/2 foot. These imbeciles are a cult. Sort of like Jim Jones meets Hee Haw.

I couldn’t believe FOX going on and on ad nauseaum. I actually changed to CNN and they were not covering this death.
It really flabberghasts me.

Are they saying yet that "God struck him down for making that movie."??

That's exactly what they're saying.

I guess I'm bound for Hell too for playing evolution-defending atheist Henry Drummond, (in reality Clarence Darrow), when I was in a community theater production of "Inherit The Wind" several years ago. Should I be prepared and have them put a pitchfork and red Dr. Denton's in my casket because I'll be sure to need them?

:-)

“Ever cross the the mind that they’re INTENTIONALLY trying to smear the right (conservatives) in the eyes of the majority of people who aren’t real clear on what’s going on in the country? They’re lefties. They contributed to/supported Gore. They’re saying “Look at us!!! We’re Christians!!!” And they clearly are NOT.

Not everybody reads Free Republic; we’re the awake people. This group does it’s thing, grabs the headline, and the compliant sycophants in the Dem-controlled media immediately spotlight them, and then the grinning, vapid bubble-head newsbimbo obligingly says “...and today, the “CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN RIGHT-WING” group protested a soldier’s funeral today...” right on que on the 6 O’clock news.

Ever think that just maybe they’re part of the whole vast left-wing socialist conspiracy (otherwise known as the DNC) trying to turn the uninformed against and smear conservatives in general and Christians in particular?””

You said it better than I could have said it myself. I have been attempting to get this message out for years. Thanks.

True dat.

I wonder if Rosalyn knew this Chicago ward-heeler she had her picture taken with was a notorious serial killer who had 30+ bodies buried in his basement?

Has anyone picketed the Phelps’s church?

Maybe if they get a taste of their own medicine they won’t think this is so fun.

I saw this and first was reminded of the clintons.

Referring to this gaggle of sociopaths as a “church” in the headline is an insult to churches.

I find it difficult to believe that this is the most effective way to spend the money that will be spent on traveling to protest the funeral of this young star.

These scum already have a court judgment against them. They should have a baliff following them around, grabbing any money they attempt to use to buy tickets... or gasoline... or lunch....

Nope, these people are not imbeciles. They have an agenda and know exactly how to play it.

While we may know that, unfortunately a great deal of the “public” will group these people as “right wingers” because they protest homosexuality at funerals.

My opinion has always been that part of the reason they do this is more to make conservatives/religious people look bad in public rather than any dedication to a belief.

I don’t doubt what you say, and even believe it, however, I really can’t help but to root for someone to go protest/disrupt at ole Freddy’s next sermon, should he actually bother to give one.

I agree! They were going to come to my hometown to protest a funeral of a fallen soldier (who happened to be a good friend of mine, and also had a wife with a baby on the way). Since it was a small town, none of the motels had any openings, and all the businesses shut down to observe the funeral. Plus I suppose there wasn’t enough media to fulfill Freddy’s desire for publicity so they decided not to come! I’ve never been more proud of my hometown.

You sure it wasn't permanent lack of breathing? Death is only a symptom, after all...

I do believe that the correct medical term is "Chronic Vital Sign Deficiency"

Repeating: They turned against the Gores long, long, long ago. Even picketed the father’s funeral. They’re not right wingers, left wingers, Democrats or Republicans. They’re aliens from outer space.

That's an insult to space aliens.

Marvin's going to be very, very angry and use his X-319Y Molecular Disintegrator on you....
